The two-day workshop was organized in Ghazipur, Dhaka from 11 October to 12 October in collaboration with NBR.
Tax Appellate Tribunal Chairman Mohammad Nazmul Karim attended the event as the chief guest. Mohammad Iqbal Hussain, member of Tax Appeals and Exemptions, AKM Badiul Alam, member of International Tax and Tax Information Management and Services and Ahmed Ullah, member of Tax Legal and Enforcement attended the event as special guests.
The purpose of this workshop was to disseminate the results of the work done following the initial workshop held in December 2022, which focused specifically on improving the agenda in the area of litigation case management. The purpose of the workshop is to foster stakeholder engagement to refine and support the developed draft products, including case management framework, standard operating procedures and policies, process workflows, online appeal forms and supporting data models.
