East West University (EWU) celebrated its 23rd convocation on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the Aftabnagar Sports Ground in the capital, a press release said.
Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chaudhary, representing the President, awarded degrees to 2,861 students of undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the convocation ceremony. Also, four students with exceptional performance were awarded gold medals.
On this occasion, Professor Mohammad Farashuddin, Chief Advisor of EWU and former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, highlighted the contribution of EWU to the higher education sector of the country and urged the government to allow for the introduction of MPhil and PhD programmes.
