Exclusive: Mashrafe bin Murtuza takes break from BPL to take up role of whip in Parliament

Sylhet lost to Fortune Barisal by 49 runs at ‘home ground’ Sylhet International Stadium on Tuesday.

Mashrafe’s performance in the match was not that remarkable. He came to bat at number four and after not bowling, he was out on 2 runs.

Earlier, Mashrafe had bowled a total of 7.3 overs in four matches and taken one wicket.

He was playing without fitting in as per the wishes of the franchise owners. However, Sylhet kept their faith in Mashrafe’s captaincy.
