Australia’s current national guidelines for cancer patients recommend moderate-intensity aerobic exercise for 30 minutes per day, five days a week, or vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise for 20 minutes three days a week.
He also says to do 8-10 strength-training exercises with 8-12 repetitions per exercise for two to three days per week.
However, study leader Georgios Mavropalias said benefits were still seen with less exercise.
