As police prevented BNP general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir from entering the party’s Naya Paltan central office, he sat in front of the party office.
Fakhrul came to the party office at 4:30 pm and tried to enter the office. But after 20 minutes he was allowed inside the office. Instead of entering inside, the BNP leader started protesting by sitting in front of the office.
A police team entered the office around 4.15 pm on Wednesday and then closed the collapsing gate.
