Farzana Rikta’s career as television commercial (TVC) model was an impressive one. It was nearly one decade ago when she worked on five consecutive television commercials for Grameen Phone, the largest mobile operator of Bangladesh. Prominent film maker Amitabh Reza was the director that time. Those television commercials brought her to limelight and later she worked for many commercials, TV dramas and even on silver screen. But Farzana Rikta was absent on television commercials for about one year. It was a commercial directed by Nafiz for a cupboard manufactured by a multinational company. After this one year break Rikta is again working for a television commercial directed by Redoan Rony. It’s a commercial for mobile operator Airtel.
Shooting for this commercial has started in Priyanka Shooting house of the capital. Story of the advertisement is on international mother’s day. Farzana Rikta will play a mother’s role there. She is very happy to perform on commercial based on mother’s day. Rikta thanked Redoan Rony for giving her the opportunity to perform on commercial like this. It’s her first work for commercial with Redoan Rony. She says Redoan Rony’s whole team is very dedicated to work, she also paid respect to all mothers of the planet and hoped that viewers will like the commercial.
