Jatrabari police station sub-inspector (SI) Farzana Akhtar said Sharif was seriously injured on the spot after the collision with the Desh Travels bus on the Dhaka-Kolkata route. The bus involved in the incident has been seized and the driver has been taken into custody.
He said that Sharif Hussain’s body has been taken to Dhaka Medical College mortuary.
