The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Shahjahan, 44, and his 18-year-old son Muhammad Arif, both residents of Pendong Union. Police have recovered the body and taken the bus driver into custody.
According to eyewitnesses and local residents, the BRTC bus was heading towards Chattogram city. When she was passing through Amtal area, a speeding vehicle hit the motorcycle, killing the father and son on the spot.
