A fire broke out on the second floor of a building in Hatirpool Kitchen Market of the capital on Thursday evening.
There is no immediate news of casualties.
Fire service sources said that the fire broke out on the second floor of a building near Hatirpool Kitchen Market at around 6 pm. Within no time the fire spread to all the floors of the building.
A unit reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. Later six more units joined them. They are working to control the fire.
