Three members of a family, a father, mother and son, sustained burn injuries when a house caught fire following an air conditioner (AC) explosion in Mashundi area of Narinda in old Dhaka late on Thursday night.
The injured included Mukhtar Bepari, his wife Selina Begum and their son Selim Bepari. His house is in Mashundi.
Inspector MD Farooq of the police post at Dhaka Medical College Hospital confirmed the incident early on Friday. The injured have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
