-Fire in 3 schools including 2 polling stations in Ghazipur

According to school authorities and police, some miscreants set fire to Chandana Government Primary School in Ward 17 of Ghazipur Municipal Corporation. Many rooms of the polling station were burnt in the fire.

By the time firefighters could control the fire after receiving the news, nine rooms of the school were completely burnt.

Speaking to Prothom Alo, T&T School headmaster Usman Ali said the night guard informed him about the fire. On receiving the news he called the National Emergency Service number 999.

On learning about the fire, members of Joydebpur Fire Service and Ghazipur Modern Fire Service reached the spot and brought the fire under control. This time there is no school polling station.
