Netrakona bound train ‘Jaria 275 Local’ was set on fire by angry passengers. Some robbers got on the train when it reached to Gouripur. They looted valuables of the passengers and managed to go down when the train was slowed down before entering Shambhu Railway Station.
Security is a big concern for rail passengers especially at night. Though rail police works for their safety and security but their efforts always don’t seem to be enough.
Angry passengers set on fire on two carriages of the train. One of them is severely damaged. Two fire units from Mymensingh rushed to the scene to control the fire.
