Food inflation increased to 10.22 percent in April from 9.87 percent in March. Last November, food inflation was 10.76 percent.
This picture of inflation has emerged in the updated report of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) published on Monday.
However, non-food inflation eased slightly to 9.34 per cent in April from 9.64 per cent in March.
