During the briefing, the government is understood to reiterate its commitment to fully cooperate with the Election Commission in conducting free, fair and peaceful elections under the Constitution.
The government cannot accept the opposition’s demands for the establishment of a non-constitutional, neutral or non-partisan government. In addition, during the briefing the “arguments” given by civil society or some foreign countries in support of these demands will also be addressed and countered.
