Mainul Hossein, a former advisor to the caretaker government, died at a private hospital in the capital at around 6 pm on Saturday evening. He was 84 years old.
Mainul Hussain’s nephew Muhibbul Ahsan confirmed this to Prothom Alo.
He said that Mainul Hosein is suffering from cancer. His first Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at Baridhara Mosque at 10:30 am on Sunday and the second Namaz-e-Janaza will be held in the Supreme Court complex after Zuhar prayers.
However, the decision on the burial ceremony has not been taken yet.
