President Abdul Hameed on Friday appointed former secretary Kamal Uddin Ahmed as the chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
This recruitment has been done a day before International Human Rights Day.
A press release signed by Joint Secretary Mohammad Asaduzzaman Noor said that the former secretary was appointed in line with the ‘National Human Rights Commission Act-2009’.
