According to the UNB report, four people, including the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader of the Agaljhara upazila unit of Barishal district, have been detained for allegedly beating up a policeman on Saturday evening.
Among those detained are Zakir Paik, Monir Paik, Zaheerul Haq Paik, general secretary of the Upazila Chhatra League and Zia Paik. He is accused of attacking the injured police constable Bhudev Vishwas.
