Deschamps will have to wait and see whether midfielder Aurelien Tchoumeni, who is struggling with a muscle injury, will be fit in time for the game.
“He is feeling better but I left the hotel early this morning. I can’t say anything more than that. He can participate in training today. All the other players are available,” Deschamps said.
As for France’s appeal to have Michel Olise’s yellow card in the match against Paraguay overturned, Deschamps said FIFA had informed him that precautions would be taken.
The decision comes days after FIFA’s decision to suspend the match ban following the red card given to American player Folarin Balogun and the outcry that followed President Donald Trump’s intervention.
