The operation began in northern Shan State in October 1027. So far, resistance fighters have captured countless posts and camps. The situation in northern Shan State is now calm. There is fierce resistance in Rakhine, Chin, Karen, Karenni, Magway and Sagaing. It seems that the Tatmadaw is not prepared or has the capacity to fight. They are fleeing from various areas except battalion headquarters, strategic command headquarters, regional command headquarters and such important military establishments. From a military point of view, Naypyidaw is in an unstable situation.
