Akhtar Hussain, a car driver waiting for fuel at the Meghna Model filling station in Paribag, said, “If we don’t get fuel, our jobs will be gone. No matter how difficult it is, we will have to get fuel. Even after that we will have to go back to duty.”
He told that he was standing in the queue for fuel at around 10:00 pm on Thursday night. They had not received fuel even till 11:00 am on Friday. When he spoke to Prothom Alo there were three more cars ahead of him in line.
