Gujarat lost Wriddhiman Saha for a duck on the third ball of the match, but Gill hit Fazalhaq Farooqui for four consecutive fours to set the pace.
Gill, who finished second in the batting charts behind Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis (631) with 576 runs, hit 13 fours and a six and Sudarshan was also punishing in his 36-ball innings.
The 23-year-old Gill, who has scored a ton each in all three international formats, was named player of the match.
Hyderabad came back with wickets and despite Gill’s century in 56 balls, Gujarat scored just 34 runs in the last five overs and lost seven wickets.
