Notably, both Trump and Netanyahu, the primary figures behind Iran’s aggression, have been convicted of various crimes in the courts of their respective countries and are undergoing further investigation. If the International Court had been operational, both of them would have been punished as war criminals. A verdict has already been passed against Netanyahu for the massacre in Gaza.

If we look at history, America’s role does not seem inconsistent. If we look at the history of genocide and destruction in the last few decades after the Second World War, the image of this country as a killer or destroyer appears to be the most frightening. The first atomic bombing in human history by the US resulted in the death of thousands of people in a matter of moments in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Subsequently, in countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, Nicaragua and Iraq, the US played a major role in killing millions of people, destroying settlements one after another and destroying the capacity of many countries.

In other words, the entire incident of inciting fear and hatred among the public for years, devoting huge resources from the education and health sectors to war preparations, launching a unilateral attack, genocide and destruction on a sovereign UN member state under false pretenses and ultimately establishing colonial occupation is a complete fraud, deception and a complete lie. However, responsible US administrations, especially several presidents, who should have been held accountable and convicted for war crimes, never had to answer for it.
