GM Quad met Roshan Irshad, discussed various issues

Jatiya Party President GM Quader met the party’s Chief Patron and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Roshan Ershad at The Westin Dhaka on Tuesday morning.

They discussed various issues including party unity, mayoral candidate for the Rangpur Municipal Corporation elections and the next general elections.

Sources said GM Quader and Roshan Irshad agreed in the meeting that Mustafizur Rahman, the current mayor of Rangpur city, would contest as his party’s candidate in the upcoming city elections.

Roushon returned to Dhaka on Sunday after nearly four months of treatment in Bangkok.
