GM Quader: Election controlled on January 7, government’s acceptance at stake

Jatiya Party president GM Quader said that the January 7 election was not a ‘real’ election as it was a controlled election as per the wishes of the government.

He said, no one will trust this government and the acceptance that the government had will not remain.

GM Quader made this comment while talking to this correspondent on Monday.

The JAPA chief refrained from making any comments about the elections on voting day on Sunday.

The Japa leader said on Sunday afternoon, “We always feared that we would be sacrificed by bringing us into the elections. This sacrifice will establish one-party rule. Whether this apprehension will be true or not will be known by afternoon.
