The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of gold by Tk 1,575 to Tk 2,333 per bhauri from Sunday.
With the latest price, 22 carat gold will be sold for the first time in the country at a record Rs 90,746 per bhori, while 21 carat gold will be sold at Rs 86,605 per bhori and 18 carat gold at Rs 74,241 per bhori, Bajus said. A press release on Saturday.
