Government appointed new heads in 15 institutions

In the latest administrative changes, the government has appointed new heads, including directors general (DGs) and chairpersons, at 15 key institutions under various ministries.

According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration, Additional Secretary level officers have been appointed on deputation to these top posts.

The changes include the Directorate General of Food, Forest Department, Agricultural Marketing Department, Patent Department, Industrial Design and Trademarks, Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery, Youth Development Department, Governance Innovation Unit, Jatiya Muktijodha Parishad (JAMUKA), National Identity Registration Wing, Wage Earners Welfare Board and Non-Formal Education Bureau.

New chairpersons were also appointed at the Registrar General, Registrar General of Births and Deaths Registration Office as well as the National Housing Authority, Bangladesh Food Safety Authority and Non-Government Teachers Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA).
