Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Mehboob Hussain told this to the media at a press conference held on Monday afternoon to unveil the decisions taken in the morning cabinet meeting.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina chaired the meeting in her office (PMO).
Mehboob Hussain also told the media that this issue was not on the agenda of today’s cabinet meeting.
There has been an abnormal increase in onion prices after India decided not to export kitchen items.
