The government has transferred 12 Superintendents of Police (SP) in different police stations.
The Home Ministry today issued a notification in this regard signed by Deputy Secretary Tausif Ahmed.
According to the notification, Bogura SP MD Shahadat Hussain has been transferred to Armed Police Battalion (APBN), Khagrachari SP Mirza Saim Mahmood to Bogura, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner (DC) MD Mostaq Sarkar to Khagrachari, Mymensingh SP Mohammad Mizanur Rahman to Police Training Centre, Noakhali, DMP DC Mohammad Kamrul. Hasan has been transferred to Mymensingh, Sylhet SP Qazi Akhtar Ul Alam. APBN, Jamalpur SP Dr Chaudhary Mohammad Jaber Sadek has been sent to Sylhet, DMP DC Farhana Yasmin has been sent to Jamalpur, Barishal SP Farzana Islam has been sent to River Police and Police Headquarters Assistant Inspector General (AIG) AZM Mustafizur Rahman has been sent to Barishal.
The order issued in public interest will come into effect with immediate effect.
