Referring to the attack on Abul Hussain, Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘On April 8, when Nator BNP leaders and workers were going to attend a program, people from Awami League and Jubo League attacked under the cover of the police. The assailants tried to kill. Finding him alone, biting him (Abul Hussain). His veins were cut.”
“They broke his arms and legs. What cruelty! Frankly speaking, he would have died if the police had not protected him. Their aim was to kill him. They have spread a reign of terror across the country including Natore.”
Describing the Awami League government as terrorists, Fakhrul said that their leaders carry out terrorist activities under the shelter of the police.
The BNP leader said that Awami League ministers and MPs say something and do the opposite.
The BNP general secretary said that the main weakness of this government is that they are not elected. They are not required to ensure accountability. The Awami League has already been alienated from the people.
