After a long wait Bangladeshi Mobile operator giant Grameen Phone has released its share to public. It was announced before a long time ago. But the process was just pending. Finally the Giant Company has given its share to 347173 applicants through lottery. The lottery drawing program was celebrated at Bangabandhu international conference centre last 28th of October. The program was inaugurated by the chairman of Dhaka stock exchange Rokibur Rahman. Grameen phone CEO Odver Hadgedal, company secretary Rayhan Shamsi and the vice president of Chitagong stock exchange Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed was also present as a guest in the program. Chief guest rokibur Rahman said , “the history of Bangladeshi economics is going to be changed through this.” “Grameen phone has introduced the capital market of Bangladesh to rest of the world” he added. Grameen phone CEO Odvar said, “Grameen Phone is the phone of public. Investors will buy the share of fundamental based company and invest it.”
