Gaza’s Hamas government said on Tuesday that at least 140 people were killed in Israeli air strikes on the besieged territory overnight.
“More than 140 people were martyred and hundreds were injured in the massacre caused by the occupation (Israel) raids,” a statement from the government’s media office said.
Gaza’s rulers say more than 5,000 people have been killed in the territory since their gunmen attacked Israel on October 7, including at least 1,400.
