National Citizen Party (NCP) joint chief coordinator and Noakhali-6 (Hatiya) candidate Hannan Masood says his wife and brother were allegedly attacked at Asadiya polling booth in Ward 7 of Burichar Union on Thursday morning.
NCP leaders claim that BNP workers were involved, leaving at least five injured, although BNP leaders deny the allegations.
Upazila Youth Force convenor and Hannan Masood’s campaign coordinator Muhammad Yusuf told Prothom Alo that Hannan Masood’s wife, Shyamoli Sultana, had gone to visit the Asadiya polling station in Ward 7.
