Saqib Hussain, a Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) student brutally thrashed by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men, used his tuition earnings in the city to support his family as his daily wage laborer father had little or no income Was. Saqib’s cousin Mizanur Rahman made this disclosure while talking to Prothom Alo on Saturday afternoon. He said that Saqib has no affiliation with any political organization and would always pursue studies.
Saqib, 22, and Zahid Hussain alias Vakil, 22, both fourth-year students of DMCH, were allegedly thrashed by a section of BCL men from Wednesday night to Thursday evening alleging that the two Islamic students were attending the camp.
