Hasina said her government is implementing the “Force Vision 2030” to create a technology-based knowledge-based force suited to the times.
In line with the target, three new infantry divisions, three new brigades and 58 small and large units have been raised across the country, along with the establishment of the Sheikh Russel Cantonment in Jazeera. He said that three more outposts were being set up at Mithmoin, Rajbari and Trishal.
The Forces Goal 2030 is an ambitious defense strengthening plan set by the Hasina administration in 2009 to expand and modernize the Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force.
