Justice Mohd Khasruzzaman and Justice Mohd Iqbal Kabir issued the order to the Bogura Returning Officer (Deputy Commissioner) on Tuesday.
His lawyer Iyarul Islam said the court’s decision removed the legal hurdle preventing Hero Alom from competing as an independent candidate in the bypolls.
After the verdict, Hero Alom said that he had expected a ‘fair judgement’ from the court and got it.
He said, ‘I got justice, which I expected. “There was only a little harassment and a little wasted time along the way.”
