RAB revealed the names of nine youths. They are Bakar Siddiqui, Faisal Hussain, Farooq Hussain, Alif Khan, Mufaliya Akhtar, Tajkia Tabassum, Jannatul Firdaus, Runa Akhtar and Kaneez Fatema Ifti.
Farooq Hussain and Tajkia Tabassum narrated their ordeal in the programme. He said he was inspired to radicalize after joining a Facebook group. Those who inspired them are unknown to them. Under the influence of unknown people, he left the house for ‘Hijrat’.
He further said that he decided to go to the hilly area in Rangamati to analyze the Google Map. He left home on 22 December. Next day they met each other at a place in Chattogram. From there they reached Rangamati by bus.
