Part-II

Yesterday in response to a writ, the high court ruled that the authority have to evacuate the house within seven days. The deputy commissioner, superintendent of police and officer-in-charge of Pabna police have to reply within 10 days, why their inaction would not be declared as illegal and they have to report what they have done in this regard. This writ was filed following a repot on a national daily.

Suchitra Sen debuted in cinema with the film Shesh Kothaay in 1952 and her pair with Uttam Kumar was the most popular and successful pair of Bangla film both in west Bengal and Bangladesh.

Cultural activists are happy and they are dreaming to convert this house as a museum. It is reported that yesterday the high court didn’t consider the stay order of 2009 which was given in favor of Gazzali trust, now they (the trust) may go to the court and say that look we have a stay order. It’s a question what the court will rule then. Another sensitive question many may be raised that; will the Muslims get back their land that they left in India in 1947?
