Two judges of the High Court’s dual bench walked out of the court amid chaos between pro-Awami League lawyers and pro-BNP lawyers.
The incident took place after the acceptance of a writ petition seeking BRTC’s action to remove the address and statements of BNP’s acting vice-president Tariq Rehman, who is absconding from the eyes of law, from social media platforms including Facebook and YouTube.
Earlier, a High Court bench comprising Justice Mohammad Khasruzzaman and Justice Mohammad Khairul Alam had allowed the writ petition.
Later, in court, pro-BNP lawyers opposed the move.
