High Court lifts Labor Appellate Tribunal's stay on judgment against Dr Yunus and others

On February 5, the HC issued an order with an injunction after a preliminary hearing on the appeal filed by plaintiff DIFE.

The ruling asks why the Labor Appellate Tribunal's January 28 stay on the January 1 order of the Third Labor Court would not be set aside.

The hearing on the decision took place on 6 March. After another hearing on the verdict on March 14, the HC fixed March 18 (today) for the order.

Considering many points, the High Court today pronounced the decision of the Third Labor Court a complete verdict.

Senior lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan represented DIFE in the hearing, while lawyer Abdullah Al Mamun represented Dr Muhammad Yunus and three others along with Khawaja Tanveer Ahmed.
