Advocate Farhad Uddin Ahmed Bhuiya, who filed the petition to the High Court bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman. In this writ petition, petitioner Advocate Farhad Uddin Ahmed Bhuiya claimed each and every citizen of the country has the right to get proper education and health service. The state is bound to take the responsibility.
With advent of modern information technology, drug addictions, sexual harassments, suicide attempts and incidents, uncontrolled lifestyle, etc. has increased. Especially in recent years these have been burning issues. Media reports also support this trend.
But unfortunately the authorities have not taken any constructive step, which is contradictory to the article 17 (ka, kha), 18 (1,2) and article 32 of the constitution.
