Speaking to Prothom Alo, Qaiser Kamal said a writ petition will be filed over the incident that took place in Patuakhali this week.
Notably, Naheed Sultana, wife of Mohammed Amiur Rahman, leader of the Jubo party in Jashore, filed a writ petition in the High Court challenging the legality of providing medical treatment to her husband after he was found in shackles.
After the preliminary hearing on the petition, the court had issued a rule and order on December 4 last year. The rule is awaiting final hearing.
