RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) is considered as one of the most efficient force of the
country. Some cream members of army, navy, air force and police are deputed for RAB. RAB
was highly appreciated for its performances from the very beginning. Operation against JMB
and JMJB was an epic example of its success. Though it has been always under heavy
criticism for its own human right records.
No one had any doubt on its skill and ability. According to RAB statement some RAB members
were coming back from an operation at Hakimpur at Gaibandha yesterday. Some young men
ambushed them on the way, broke the glasses of their vehicle. RAB members managed to
capture them. Later they called some other members of their gang who hugely outnumbered the
security personnel and attacked them. One of them hijacked a Chinese made pistol. Fourteen
hours later their pistol was recovered. No case is known to be filed yet.
