Earlier, the education boards send proposals to the government to publish the results on any day on 7, 8 or 9 February.
Tapan Kumar Sarkar had said at that time that the board’s obligation is to publish the result by February 11 as there is a rule to publish the result till 60 days after the end of the examination. That’s why a proposal has been sent demanding the date of publishing the result on any day on 7th, 8th or 9th February. He said the results would be published the day Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina agreed.
Over 1.2 million students appeared for the HSC and equivalent exams under nine education boards, one Madrasa Board and one Board of Technical Education since November 6.
