In such a situation, the rallies and counter-rallies of both the political parties are creating a new cause for concern. If such retaliatory action continues, there is a fear of a clash and the situation may worsen. This is not a good sign for the country.
I believe that the crisis can be resolved through dialogue. But no such initiative is visible. There doesn’t seem to be any way to overcome this conflict. Civil society in our country is also very weak, or rather non-existent. They are unable to take any effective steps. No efforts are being made in this direction even within the government.
In such a situation, it is noted that the western regions have been more active in calling for free and fair elections. I think this activity or interference of foreigners is because of our politicians. If this time the elections are not conducted in a democratic, fair and proper manner then the future looks bleak. We should keep in mind that a large part of our foreign trade is with the West.
