In pictures: Preparations at Central Shaheed Minar for Ekushey February

Amar Ekushey will be celebrated on February, Shaheed Dibosh (Martyrs’ Day) and International Mother Language Day, on Saturday (February 21). The 74th anniversary of the language movement will be celebrated. All preparations have been completed to celebrate this day seriously in the capital Dhaka and across the country. The official events will begin at 12:01 am tonight, Friday, with the laying of a wreath in tribute and memory at the Central Shaheed Minar.
