However, Gopal Biswas filed a general diary (GD) at the Baranagar police station on May 18 as Anwarul did not return.
Speaking to reporters, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday said that MP Anwarul has been murdered in Kolkata.
“As far as we know, some Bangladeshis are behind this murder. Three people have already been arrested in connection with the incident.”
