Professor Imdadul was first taken to Singapore for better treatment. He had recently returned to Dhaka and was undergoing treatment at BRB Hospital.
Imdadul has a daughter and many of his relatives are mourning his death. His mortal remains were taken to the university where teachers, students, officials and staff paid their last respects to the professor.
