0 minutes, 41 seconds Read

Upon the coming into force of this Act, the Supreme Court Secretariat shall be abolished, and all posts specifically created for it shall be abolished. All budgets, projects and programs previously under the Secretariat will be transferred to the Law and Justice Division of the Government.

Despite the repeal, the organizational structure, vehicles and office equipment used for the Registry, Administrative Tribunals and Subordinate Courts will remain intact but will fall under the jurisdiction of the Law and Justice Division.

The service conditions of judicial officers who were serving in the Secretariat will revert to the laws applicable to them before the 2025 Ordinance.

The Bill clarifies that all actions taken and measures adopted under the now repealed Ordinances will be given legal protection to ensure that the administrative work accomplished during the existence of the Secretariat remains legitimate.
