“He is without a doubt one of the top operators in the world and the way he swings the ball and the way he keeps bringing the stumps into play.

Mitchell’s century was his second of the tournament after scoring 130 against an impressive Indian attack in a four-wicket pool defeat in Dharamsala.
“He’s a phenomenal player and the ultimate competitor, he loves this opportunity and he’s been outstanding for us throughout this tournament,” Williamson said.
India, undefeated in 10 matches in the tournament, will now face Australia or South Africa in the final in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
“They are the best team in the world and they are all playing their best cricket,” Williamson said.
