Conflict between them is very common there. All of them try to take control as many areas as possible. There is allegation that they do it because it helps them to run their illegal activities.

Supranu Chakma, 45, is the latest addition in the long list of casualties in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. He was a leader of a dissident group of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samity (PCJSS). He was shot dead in Dighinala upazila of Khagrachhari by an armed gang on Thursday. His body was taken to hospital for autopsy.
